WRX 300 Owners Club Facebook Group (New)
Welcome to the unofficial Subaru Impreza WRX 300 owners club. This simple website was created to finally attempt to bring some clarity to the whereabouts and statuses of each WRX 300 is. One problem that may not make this task as easy as the infamous UK300 is to track, is that us WRX 300 owners do not have any unique numbers to catalogue each edition. I have relied on some other detailed information to attempt to tackle this problem in which you shall see when registering yours. If you wish to provide more concrete evidence proving that your 300 is genuine such as a VIN number and authentic email from Subaru, then please feel free to, but this database is not to be taken nor used for evidential purposes as the information on each 300 provided is very broad and in no way certified proof of authenticity. Please feel free to contact me regarding anything to do with the database or WRX 300. Some history on the WRX 300. Subaru UK released this Blobeye limited edition WRX in 2005, the WRX 300. This limited edition WRX boasted a Prodrive Performance Pack from factory (included in the on the road price), making it at that time, cheaper to buy a WRX 300 with the PPP included than to buy a standard WRX and opt for the PPP as an extra. The WRX 300 came with a rear-end Limited Slip Differential. The WRX 300 also only came in WR Blue (02C), featured unique gold 17 inch WRX wheels, special Subaru branded red calipers on front and rear, blue STI-esque door cards, unique branded SWRT bucket seats, a bespoke aluminium gear knob, SWRT branded front fog lamp covers, WRX 300 floor mats and WRX 300 branding on the sides and rear. Optional extras included a gold 18 inch Prodrive PFF7 wheel and tyre package, performance suspension pack, beefy brake upgrade pack and a special edition rear spoiler. Due to the WRX 300 being in such limited numbers from factory I assume only a lucky few received the opportunity to purchase such a unique Impreza like this for a price cheaper than a regular WRX with a PPP as an extra option. Full technical specs and information can be found here I hope you find this register of use to you. - Jack |
